In a recent tweet on their new Japanese Twitter account, Platinum Games’ posted this picture:
It’s an artwork of Bayonetta from both games; however people began to draw to the conclusion that this is a tease for a Bayonetta 1 & 2 port to the Switch after noticing how the blue and red color scheme of the artwork matches the colors of the neon Joycons on the Switch.
Now this could easily be chalked down to simply being a coincidence. However, Platinum was observed “liking” posts of those who deduced the color scheme connection. It’s still not enough to say whether SEGA is bringing over the sassy witch to Nintendo’s console, but we’re hopeful.
Bayonetta originally released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2010, followed by a port and an exclusive sequel for the Wii U. The first game was recently ported to PC as well; read our review for it here.
