ATOM RPG is a damn good role-playing game. For the uninitiated, it’s a quasi-sequel to the old-school Fallouts and wears its inspiration on its sleeves. That’s why it’s so great to hear that ATOM RPG is coming to the Nintendo Switch on September 4, 2020, following its debut on PC, iOS, and Android.  Nintendo Switch has been getting its share of indie RPGs and ATOM will make a fine addition to the robust roster.

The distinct features of this port are going to be:

  • A new user interface, completely optimized for playing on the Nintendo Switch console;
  • A new control scheme perfected for the Switch;
  • PC-quality graphics;
  • Ability to seamlessly transfer save games from the Switch to PC, iOS and Android versions of the game and vice-versa.

ATOM RPG is a post-apocalyptic indie game, inspired by classic CRPGs: Fallout, Wasteland, System Shock, Deus Ex, Baldur’s Gate and many others.

In 1986 both the Soviet Union and the Western Bloc were destroyed in mutual nuclear bombings. You are one of the survivors of the nuclear Holocaust.
