Peripherals were a major part of ASUS ROG’s lineup for CES 2019, and that includes the ROG Strix CTRL mechanical keyboard. The CTRL mechanical keyboard joins the already diverse ROG Strix family of peripherals for gamers.
The CTRL mechanical keyboard features per-key RGB LEDs, plus an illuminated ROG logo. Aura Sync compatibility means it is easy to match the ROG Strix CTRL to other Aura-enabled components on the desktop.
The keycaps are designed to take full advantage of the RGB backlighting, with secondary legends that are carefully placed to be just as brightly lit as the primary functions. The WASD keys have special silver caps, while keys F5-12 have front side illumination. The F12 button is even configured to hide all apps and mute all audio for taking that one break while gaming for long hours.
ROG takes construction quality seriously while constructing peripherals, and the CTRL mechanical keyboard is one solid ROG product. The all-black chassis shows off the illumination of the LEDs , while the sturdy build quality adds durability to the product.
