Chad Grenier, Game Director at Respawn Entertainment, announced in an official blogpost today that Apex Legends was finally coming to the Steam platform. The game will be released along with Season 7 on November 4, 2020. If you already have been playing on Origin, all your account progression and unlocks will carry over. To celebrate this event, players on Steam will receive free exclusive Portal and Half-Life inspired gun charms for logging in during this new season.

Fans of this free-to-play battle royale can also join in any time between October 22 and November 3, and enjoy their halloween treats! The Fight or Fright Event in Apex Legends brings in a scary new limited time mode called Shadow Royale that will drop you down in Kings Canyon after dark. Fallen squadmates are brought back from the dead as Shadows who can move with unnatural speed and deal massive melee damage. As a shadow, you are tasked with protecting your living teammates and help them win! With wall-running, hell beasts and the undead springing out of supply bins, this mode is surely poised to keep you on your toes! You can complete challenges to earn free rewards, and also visit the store to try out some new and rethemed Halloween cosmetics.
