It isn’t everyday that a favorite game from your childhood gets a sequel after a long time. Similarly, it isn’t everyday that one gets to play on an esports-ready tactical gaming monitor, perhaps the first of its kind! Friday saw quite some action in Zone Cafe, one of the hottest gaming cafes in the eastern part of the country, where AORUS held a launch party for Devil May Cry 5 and the their tactical gaming monitor, the AD27QD.
AORUS also held a live demo of its GTX 1660Ti series as well as its RTX lineup consisting of the RTX 2060, 2070,2080 and the 2080Ti. Gamers had the opportunity of seeing the crisp graphical quality offered by ray tracing in a variety of gaming titles. For buyers wanting to upgrade their gaming experience, AORUS provided customized PCs with different price ranges depending on their budget. Gamers also got a chance to try out the AORUS AD27QD, world’s first ‘tactical’ gaming monitor (which actually is ‘esports ready’).
The AORUS AD27QD is a 27inch flat screen frameless monitor, with a 2560 x 1440 panel, that runs at 144 Hz with FreeSync support. It’s also a 10 bit panel that delivers 95% of the DCI-P3 color space. Furthermore, AORUS provided multiple exclusive features for gamers to dominate in the game, such as ANC (Active Noise Cancelling Technology), Aim Stabilizer, OSD Sidekick, Game Assist. On the back of the panel, AORUS utilize plenty of RGB lights, which can be controlled by updated RGB Fusion 2.0 software.
Gamers were excited for the official launch of Devil May Cry 5, the official sequel to the immensely popular hack-and-slash game. The game puts Dante, Nero and V back in the boots of immense hack-and-slash action and edgy jokes, which gamers got to play first-hand.
The Devil May Cry 5 launch was also accompanied by a cosplay event, where gamers had the chance of clicking photos with some of the well-established cosplayers from Kolkata. Gamers also got to meet some popular streamers from Kolkata, including Subhajit Deb from Nerd Gaming.
The AORUS AD27QD monitor will be available on retail stores and will be up for orders shortly, so gamers who missed the event and want to upgrade their experience need not be disappointed.
