Bioware‘s Mark Darrah has been steadily supplying new information regarding their upcoming title Anthem via Twitter. Although most of the news has been pretty positive so far, but this one is sort of disappointing, yet expected.
Mark Darrah has confirmed that Anthem won’t support modding, as is the case with most online games to prevent cheating and other manipulation of game software. Though Darrah himself mentioned that he would love to support mods if it were his own preference, he did mention that just wasn’t doable for the online game that is Anthem. There goes our hope to fly around as Optimus Prime or even Godzilla while firing homing rockets at fauna.
Anthem launches on February 22, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
