Anno 1800, the next title in the Anno series officially announced at Gamescom 2017, made its presence felt during E3 2018 at the PC Gaming Show conference.
Anno 1800 takes Anno to the Colonial Era about the Second Industrial Revolution, when European powers started establishing powerful colonial empires abroad in order to find markets for their factories. The game starts off in a medieval tone, and quickly paces through the imperial era into the post-colonial modern age.
Developer Blue Byte will be working beside the community for the development of Anno 1800, taking feedback through the Anno Union, which is a group made up of the community and the developers.
