AMD returns with another iteration of their annual technological meet, AMD GameOn.
Hosted at the HITEX Convention Center within the popular Hyderabad ComicCon, the event
looks poised to deliver an exciting time with everything a geek would want. It will be a 2-day event starting 13th of October.
There will also be a driving simulator zone where people can enjoy the pleasures of
cutting-edge gaming technology. VR enthusiasts also have a lot to look forward to at the
event, for there will also be a VR zone packed with the latest VR technology. And to top it,a
Mocap Zone will be present that’ll allow people to understand the very best of today’s
next-gen motion capture technology.
AMD Tech-Zone will be a one-of-its-kind display of all forms of AMD hardware. Whether it is the latest Ryzen CPUs or the best AMD GPUs, everyone is sure to find something for their taste.
Alongside there will be a free play zone where everyone can try out their favorite games and even stand a chance of winning a prize! If you are one among the casual crowd and want to explore some console exclusives at your own pace, then there’s a console gaming zone for that too!
The PLAYMAX Community Cup – Battle Royale is going to be an open-for-all tournament
with both online as well as offline qualifiers. The offline qualifiers will be on the 6th and 7th of October in Hyderabad. Get ready to unleash your surviving skills in PUBG and Fortnite.
There will also be a CSGO and DOTA 2 tournament for the fans! The CSGO tournament has a prize pool of INR 90,000 while the Dota 2 tournament sports a prize pool of INR 50,000. With all forms of tournaments in the mix too, the event promises to be a fantastic one for the hardcore esports fans.
If modding is what you adore, fret not, because AMD will also be hosting a grand MOD RIG Zone for interested modders. Contestants will be bringing in their AMD Ryzen custom mod. Winner takes home a HTC Vive.
