Dark Light

War, war never changes but the modding community changes the game. Among one of the many games to receive AI-enhanced high-definitions recently is Obsidian’s Fallout: New Vegas.  Modder ‘DcCharge’ has done a fantastic job to revamp around 13,000 textures for the base game and another 2,000 for all the DLC and has been up-scaled from two to four times the original resolutions, resulting in crisp, sharp textures that are no more fuzzy or blurry.

However, Level of detail (LOD) textures, tree billboards and a good portion of the interface files are excluded for now as it remains to be evaluated how they impact the game engine. Interested parties can download the texture pack from here and we’ve included some comparison screenshots below to show off what a wonderful work the modder has done.
