After the definitive edition treatment of Age of Empires I and II, its finally the time for the third game in the Age of Empires series. The announcement trailer was showcased at Gamescom 2020 by Geoff Keighley. With an eye-popping 4K upgrade, rebuilt 3D assets, a full remastered soundtrack, remade artwork and a new UI, Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition is hoping to recapture the nostalgia of strategy gamers around the world! The game comes with 14 civilizations – including those from the expansions The Warchiefs and The Asian Dynasties, and two new ones, the Incas and the Swedes, which had been a part of the fan-made expansion mod called Wars of Liberty. You will also get to experience new historical battles and see the return of The Art of War mode which will help you learn the ropes of this RTS.
Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition is coming to Steam, Microsoft Store and the Xbox Game Pass on October 15.
