If you follow Chernobylite on social media, you’ve probably already seen the short material prepared for Gamescom, which teased fresh content awaiting you in the game. However, today the developers have decided to reveal loads of new footage made entirely thanks to their Kickstarter supporters. Get inside the heart of darkness, an accurately recreated Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, in the unedited gameplay footage from the Gamescom demo as well as the newest gameplay trailer forChernobylite! But remember – this will not be a carefree journey.
Discover new routes to take in the highly contaminated Exclusion Zone of Chernobylite, but be careful! Besides being an excellent virtual alternative to visiting the Pripyat power plant and its surroundings, Chernobylite will also drive you insane. Play as a physicist who decided to revisit the area 30 years later to finally face his fears and rescue his beloved. Encounter unpredictable situations and natural, as well as supernatural threats. Overcome deadly creatures pouring out from an alternate reality. And do your best to stay conscious, as it won’t be an easy task.

Chernobylite is a science fiction survival horror experience from the team behind the critically-acclaimed Get Even. The game mixes free exploration of its disturbing world with challenging combat, unique crafting, and non-linear storytelling. The game utilizes Unreal Engine 4 and is based on Reality 51’s scanning technology, which is in development by The Farm 51 for over five years.


  • Explore a beautiful and horrifyingly accurate 3D-scanned recreation of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone;
