It’s no big secret that mobile devices are now the biggest platform for gaming. With Epic Games’ Fortnite and PUBG Corporation’s PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS making it big on the platform, other developers are also trying to explore the platform. Activision today announced a mobile version of Call of Duty, explaining the features with a new trailer.

The game has the same iconic multiplayer as any of the Call of Duty games. The multiplayer will feature different maps, character and loadout customization as well as a variety of killstreaks to take out the enemy in a creative way.

The game is being co-developed by Tencent Games, the Chinese company which is behind PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS. It will be interesting to see Activision go up against one of the biggest mobile games yet.

The game will be releasing for Android and iOS platforms soon. Interested players can sign up for a chance to play the game in Early Access. The game will be free-to-play, likely having cosmetic microtransactions or ‘battle passes’ for supporting on-going development.
