Shadow Warrior, the iconic ’90s build engine shooter that was rebooted in 2013 by Flying Wildhog and Devolver Digital is getting another sequel.

While the reboot was a departure from the original formula, it still proved to be an enjoyable experience. Shadow Warrior 2, on the other hand, was more of a letdown with the game borrowing heavily from looter shooter elements. Here’s hoping that this reveal is for Shadow Warrior 3 and that it goes back to its borderline-offensive humorous roots.
It’s safe to assume that the new game will be showcased during Devolver Direct happening on July 11.
