Sometimes we wonder if Bethesda has used Gamebryo to power something other than their sprawling RPGS. It would surely whatever the hell is going on with their servers and even their official website.
For a brief period today, players who logged into Bethesda’s website to view or update their technical support tickets were able to view the support tickets of everyone else. That means personal information such as customer’s names, email addresses, the pictures and receipts for the purchase of Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition (which could potentially contain credit card information).
The issue was noted down and exposed via Reddit, Twitter and Bethesda forums before Bethesda was able to fix it.
Bethesda has acknowledged and apologized for the incident, saying it revealed ‘a limited number’ of tickets, none of which contained complete credit card information or passwords.
Man, they just can’t catch a break.
