A-1 Pictures, the studio behind Black Butler, Fairy Tail and various Persona animations, during a special Persona 5 event held in Katayanagi Area in Tokyo announced that Persona 5 the Animation will air in Japan in 2018. They’ve also released a teaser trailer for the same on YouTube, which is unfortunetly region locked, but you’ll find the trailer embedded below via Dailymotion user pKjd:

Persona 5‘s original Japanese voice cast will be returning for the anime, according to the press release. It’s still unknown whether there’s going to be an English dub version of the anime but it’s not likely to get one. Presumably, It’ll be subtitled in english though.
Persona 5 the Animation will air in Japan in 2018. There seems to be no plan for a western release.
