The highly anticipated 2.0 patch and a standalone expansion titled Prophecy was originally supposed to hit today for Neocore’s ARPG Warhammer 40K- Inquisitor: Martyr. However, the developers just announced that both the patch and the expansion has been delayed to provide a more polished experience for the community.
According to their new updated roadmap, Patch 2.0 will hit on June 20, while Inquisitor – Prophecy will arrive on July 30.
In the meantime, Neocore has assembled an in-depth compendium containing all the new features coming with the update, including all the new mechanics, items, and more, so you can see what’s coming in Patch 2.0.

About the 2.0 Patch
Martyr was released for on PC June 18th, 2018 with mixed reception from critics and players alike. In my review of Martyr, I gave the game a not-so-impressive 6/10 but noted that with further updates, this could be a competent ARPG. The 2.0 update is aiming to be just that.
The 2.0 update will rework pretty much every aspect of the game including combat, progression, loot system, co-op, and endgame. According to the developers, the aim of the patch is to “elevate Martyr’s qualities to be more in-line with the traditions of the ARPG genre”.
Here is an overview of what to expect from Martyr 2.0:
– Faster, smoother gameplay experience for all three playable classes
– Progression system rebuilt from scratch
– Level cap increased from 80 to 100
– Story Campaign, Seasons 1 & 2 are now playable in online co-op (2-4 players)
– Expanded and revised loot system (new item tier, new item types, new enchants)
– Expanded and revised crafting
– New end-game modes
– Other quality of life improvements
-And many more
