Recently Ubisoft hiked the prices of all their games on PC to match the console versions which was a result of them removing the regional pricing. This was met with a small backlash because not only did they hike the prices of newer games, but also increased the price of their older games which almost doubled in price on Steam.
I was just browsing Games The Shop and apparently they still have the Ubisoft games, at least the older ones, at the older prices. Below is a list of some prices on Steam compared to the prices at Games The Shop:

- Far Cry 3- INR 499 (Games The Shop) vs INR 1,199 (Steam)
- The Division- INR 1,799 (Games The Shop) vs INR 2,999 (Steam)
- Assassin’s Creed Syndicate- INR 1,799 (Games The Shop) vs INR 2,499 (Steam)
Other games also include FarCry Primal, Prince of Persia and some of Ubisoft’s older titles. I am guessing that any game released before 2017 hasn’t seen a price increase.
These are some of the games that we listed, but if you want to get the older Ubisoft games, I would recommend getting it from Games The Shop, not only because you’ll be getting a cheaper version but also because it’ll be a physical one. Share this info to anyone who is looking to buy Ubisoft’s older games. I think even Flipkart has the games at the same prices, but it doesn’t have the diversity of titles that Games The Shop has, hence the choice.
