Dark Light

Everything Walking Dead is a sure-fire hit (unless its Survival Instinct). Anyways, not harping on that mistake of a video game, and instead remembering the awesome Comics, TV Show and the Video Game (in that Order) here is a brand new Zombie announcement.

Robert Kirkman, Starbreeze Studios, Overkill Software and Skybound Entertainmenthave all joined hands to do what Survival Instinct couldn’t and provide everyone an action oriented Walking Dead experience. Confirmed in an article on Starbreeze official website, Bo Andersson Klint, CEO of Starbreeze AB had this to say.

For Starbreeze Studios this is a major strategic move, taking on an independent brand and treating it as our own. We have great experience from the PAYDAY series that can be utilized in bringing The Walking Dead to first-person shooter gamers everywhere

The news was accompanied with a teaser trailer which you can check out below.

This isn’t the first time that Activision had tried to cash in on The Walking Dead franchise. Their shovel-ware quality Survival Instinct totally bummed people out. Here is hoping the studio that made Pay-Day 2 relevant, will do a better job with a much more established and challenging franchise.

The game is currently scheduled for a 2016 release date, and from the looks of it will be an entirely new story set in Washington DC sharing the same universe as the Comic, TV Show and the video game (In That Order.)
