Dark Light

So the last couple of days have been a mixed bag of news when it comes to Uncharted 4. First up, Naughty Dog announced that Uncharted 4 will be undergoing open beta for its multiplayer this weekend. Yay!!! The other news, Uncharted 4 is delayed AGAIN. BOO!

Uncharted 4 will now release on May 10 2016

Ok, let’s talk about the bad news first. Uncharted 4 has been delayed by a few weeks, the game will now release on May 10th instead of the original April 26th. The delay was announced by Sony’s Shawn Layden  in a blog post, saying that although the game is on track to go gold this month, more time is needed for manufacturing.

This is the 3rd time Uncharted 4 has been delayed; but I am sure the game is going to be worth it.

Uncharted 4 Open Beta will begin at 10:30 PM IST on 4th March and will conclude at 1:30 PM IST on March 7th.

Anyways, onwards to better news. Naughty Dog will also be conducting an Open Beta for the multiplayer section of Uncharted 4 this weekend. The upside you won’t need a PS Plus subscription to play it. That’s right, you can just download the Uncharted 4 beta client from the PS store right now, and just jump in to the multiplayer come this weekend. Naughty Dog made the announcement on the official PS blog, stating that the test will be a Multiplayer Stress Test, and hence they want as many people as possible logging into the game simultaneously. As stress test is basically a way of checking if the game servers can hold the weight of a huge number of gamers simultaneously. The beta will begin at 10:30 PM IST on 4th March and will conclude at 1:30 PM IST on March 7th.

You wont need PS Plus Subscription to Play Uncharted 4 Beta this weekend.

We are planning to play the beta this weekend, we sure hope you join us too. If the terms allow we might even end up streaming the game. But what do you think of all these Uncharted 4 delays. Do you think they spell trouble. Or do you think Naughty Dog is doing the right thing by taking their time with this one. Let us know all this and more in the comments.
