Ubisoft, like minutes ago, released four new teaser trailers for their upcoming action-adventure first-person shooter game, Far Cry 5.
So, without wasting much time let’s get into it:
These four 38-seconds teasers above are not in-game footage and neither they are CGI animated, they are apparently live-action. Moreover, the above teasers reveals the game’s setting as Montana, in fictional town Hope County.
All four teasers cinematically shows beautiful landscape of Montana, though the third teaser, which zooms in to cruelly show a church where a man is making a bell ring by hitting it with another man’s head sounds familiar to me.
Earlier this month, GreatFallTribune reported that a film crew visited a church near Poplar, Montana and filmed a footage mainly for a video game promotion.
“Crew members used a drone that repeatedly flew by the belfry filming a man fighting with another man near a hanging bell as a train rolled by on the tracks a half-mile away. The footage mostly will be used for promotion of the video game” reports GreatFallTribune. “Producers couldn’t release the name of the video game but said production areas for it stretched more than 5,000 miles from California to Montana”.
The teasers didn’t reveal much so, Ubisoft is set to host a worldwide reveal of Far Cry 5 on May 26, and finally we might get more details regarding it.
Update: Ubisoft officially reveals some of the characters of Far Cry 5 in a cover art inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci’s “The Last Supper”, full reveal coming May 26 at 6:30PM IST / 6AM PDT( I know I repeat this…lol).
