THQ Nordic has revealed the 1st game as per their 1 game per day announcement yesterday and lo and behold it’s SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Remake, or should we say, Rehydrated. Oh THQ Nordic and their silly names!

The action-adventure game SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom was originally released for the PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, Xbox, Game Boy Advance and PC on October 21, 2003. The player controls SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy to save Bikini Bottom from the robot army accidentally created by Plankton.
Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated is developed by Purple Lamp Studios in association with THQ Nordic and Nickelodeon. It will feature up to date visuals (obviously) as well as a new multiplayer mode
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2020.
