Along with an exciting new trailer, Obsidian Entertainment has officially announced the minimum and recommended PC system requirements for the anticipated upcoming RPG The Outer Worlds through their forum.

Minimum System Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 7 (SP1) 64bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-3225 or AMD Phenom II X6 1100T
  • RAM: 4GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 650 Ti or AMD HD 7850
  • HDD Space: 40GB
  • OS: Windows 10 64bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K  or Ryzen 5 1600
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or Radeon RX 470
  • HDD Space: 40GB

The requirements are fairly moderate, and it seems like most people would be able to push through medium settings at ease. Needless to say, it’s relieving to see a AA title only asking for 4GB of RAM in 2019.

The Outer Worlds hits PS4, Xbox One and PC this October 25. The game will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store on PC at launch, arriving a year later to Steam. The game has a $45 price tag – which is pretty reasonable for a highly anticipated title from Obsidian – and is available to pre-order.
