Gameforge and Bluehole, Publisher and Developer of TERA, have announced that players numbers of the MMO have risen massively since the game is available through the Steam platform as well as gameforge.com. Since the launch TERA has held a spot in the top 30 of F2P on Steam and received lots of positive user reviews.
Olaf Bernhard, CMO of Gameforge, says: “Our strategy of bringing not only new releases to Steam but also re-releasing our most successful games, proves very successful: With every game we manage to bring new fans in and reactive former players.”
TERA is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) set in a graphically stunning fantasy universe. TERA’s uniqueness revolves around its groundbreaking True Action Combat. This system allows the players to truly master their characters and to aim with no automatic targeting system, thus pushing the boundaries of the MMO genre. Players and press both warmly received TERA, praising its state of the art visuals and its many gameplay innovations.
What’s next?
Gameforge and Blue Hole continue to diligently support TERA with updates and extensions. A brand new class, the Valkyrie, is scheduled for release in April. And the next update, planned for tomorrow, brings a nice convenience feature to the game, allowing players to reserve their favorite name for a new Valkyrie character.
