Signify, one of India’s leading esports organizations, have officially announced their expansion into other esports beyond DOTA 2. The team will be entering the highly competitive world of CSGO esports, taking on the giants already dominating the scene. Signify also proposes to enter the world of professional PUBG Mobile, taking on the many teams who want a piece of the action.

Signify’s DOTA 2 team had won over 8 major LAN events in India and had the privilege of representing India at four international events, being a top dog in the Indian scene and a significant competitor in the Asian scene. Expansion into other esports, given the performance of the DOTA 2 team, makes sense.

There are quite some rumors about Signify’s upcoming CSGO roster, with the strongest ones indicating the signing of Debanjan ‘Deathmaker’ Das, Agneya ‘Marzil’ Koushik and Lukas ‘yb’ Groning, with the latter two being members of the now disbanded OpTic India team. It is yet to be known what the other players will be, but Signify’s assurance is that they had brought in ‘the best of talents from India and SEA’ for ensuring excellence.

Signify is the first official esports team to venture into professional PUBG Mobile. PUBG Mobile, the mobile version of the popular battle royale game PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, is one of the games that has caught the attention of the entire country, with almost everyone with access to a decent smartphone having played the game at least once. The PUBG Mobile tournament organized by Playtonia in association with Tencent saw the winners walk away with a prize money of 15 lakh INR and an Oppo F9 Pro for every member of the squad, so there’s definitely quite some money involved in the PUBG Mobile esports scene.

“Signify was founded with the aim of establishing a professional team with a strong backing that could represent the region at any International tournament as well as provide talented gamers the opportunity to compete at the highest level. We believe we have achieved this goal with our Dota 2 team and want to replicate the same success with our upcoming CS:GO and PUBG Mobile teams as well. Apart from these upcoming rosters, we’re also considering a number of other esports titles”, said Mr. Rajdip Gupta, Founder – Signify, a product of Horizon India Sports.
