Epic Games is giving away FREE copies of Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments as well as Close To The Sun for one week, starting today till April 16th. Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments lets you play as the world’s most famous detective. It has received fairly good reviews from critics. It’s averaging a 76 out of 100 on OpenCritic.
Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments is developed by the Ukrainian studio Frogwares, and allows you to “become the most celebrated detective of all time: Sherlock Holmes!” as you “use your impressive talents as a detective to solve six thrilling and varied cases.”
Powered by Unreal Engine 3, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments comes with much richer, more immersive and detailed rendering of both the environments and characters.
The second game on offer is once again a surprise addition to the line-up. Close to the Sun is a first person horror adventure title set on a sea cruiser. Taking place during an alternate reality 1897, you play as journalist Rose Archer on a quest to save her sister. The game Is set in an alternate history 1897 on a ship operated by inventor Nikola Tesla, who, in this timeline, is more influential than Thomas Edison.
