We let you guys know last day that a big announcement regarding Shenmue 3 is scheduled to happen during the opening ceremony of Gamescom 2018. It seems like the announcement was regarding probably the most important question fans have been asking for quite some time. At Gamescom today, Deep Silver announced that Shenmue 3 will be released on August 27, 2019 for PC and PS4. Deep Silver also revealed a new trailer for the game, which you can watch below.
Shenmue 3 is one of, if not the biggest Kickstarter success story and had been the victim of several delays since its original announcement in 2015. Even if the release date is a year away, fans can now rest assured that there won’t be any unexpected delays for Shenmue. In fact, they can revisit the original two games with the Shenmue I & II remaster for PC, Xbox One and PS4 which is out today.
