SEGA Corporation has announced the VIRTUA FIGHTER Open Championship, the first official global tournament for the Virtua Fighter series, with players competing with the PC (Steam) version of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O.

Payers who win their regional preliminary rounds will have the opportunity to participate in the Grand Final Tournament where the winner will receive a grand prize of $100,000. Additional details of the preliminary rounds in each region and the participation rules can be found on the Virtua Fighter portal site here.
The preliminaries will be held in North America, Europe, Japan, and Asia (all Asian regions except Japan). We will start with the North American qualifiers from May 23 to 25 at COMBO BREAKER 2025. The regional winners will advance to the grand finals, with the champion receiving a $100,000 cash prize. If you think you’re up for the challenge, sign up and step into the ring!
