Sergiy Grygorovych, the founder of GSC GameWorld and the STALKER franchise has revealed that they are working on STALKER 2. According to their new official website, GSC GameWorld targets a 2021 release for STALKER 2.
The STALKER series, set in the aftermath of the Chernobyl nuclear disasters in Russia is a cult phenomena among PC gamers, The series, which started with Shadow of Chernobyl in 2007 still has a very passionate and dedicated fanbase. After the release of Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat, GSC GameWorld was working on STALKER 2 when the company closed its doors in 2012. On 22 December 2014, GSC GameWorld officially reopened and this is the first that we’ve heard from them in a while.
So Stalkers, even though it will be a long wait, now may be the best time to catch up on all the memes you missed and get ready to Cheeki Breeki!
