The First Free Update For Monster Hunter: World PC Adds Deviljho, Fixes The Remaining Connection Issues

Surprise, surprise! Deck 13 and Focus Home Interactive has announced that their “robots and Dark Souls meet ’em up”, The Surge will be getting a wild west themed expansion next month. Aptly named the Good, the Bad and the Augmented, the DLC expansion will be a combat-focused experience featuring a series of training rooms with various modifiers, stages, and bosses to hack and slash.

Check out the teaser trailer below.

According to the press release:

“Enter the bowels of the CREO facility and explore an old and abandoned Quality Assurance lab created to push CREO’s tech to the limit. Warren will face Dr. Rischboter’s deadly test chambers that, for some reason, feel like torn straight out of a twisted Wild West TV show!”

With the Surge 2 in full production and due next year, this announcement is a genuine surprise. Nevertheless, the DLC looks interesting. Robots in cowboy hats are always a win in my book. The Good, the Bad and the Augmented is set to release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 12.
