Despite announcing that Red Dead Redemption 2 would launch later this October for the PS4 and Xbox One, Rockstar Games hasn’t officially announced a PC version of the game. A lot of folks over at ol’ trusty internet belives that Rockstar’s open world western’s PC port will be released apporximately a year after the console release, something they did with GTA V.
However, Reddit user TheInsightfulWatcher has discovered from a former-Rockstar dev’s Linkedin profile that Red Dead Redemption 2 is also being developed for PC. This programmer has worked on both GTA V and L.A. Noire, so we can at least be sure that the leak is from a credible source.
While the first Red Dead Redemption didn’t see a PC release, the chance of RDR 2 coming to the PC is pretty damn high, as the PC version of GTA sold exceptionally well and still continues to do so. It’s just a matter of time.
