Following the new update, PUBG players seemed to have been encountering new issues. Connectivity issues, as well as matchmaking issues seems to have been the general rule for a greater portion of the week till a hotfix was deployed to fix most of the bugs occurring after the new update.
The new update added an automatic pistol, ,the Skorpion, which runs on 9mm bullets, changed the texture of the Blue Zone, and added a new Event mode called Platoon. Following multiple ‘critical errors’, the Platoon mode was made to come back at a later date in an announcement, which was followed by an announcement for compensation for the issues faced by players in-game.
Players will be getting 20000 BP and a cosmetic headgear as part of the compensation. The compensation comes with an official apology from PUBG Corporation, the developers behind the game.
