Artifact preorders on the Steam store are live. The launch coincides with the Preview Tournament which shows off the game in full action, with 128 players fighting for a piece of the $10,000 prize pool. The game costs $19.99 (or 1499 INR) on Steam. The preorder comes with 10 card packs of 12 cards each, five event tickets for accessing special modes called Gauntlets, and two pre-constructed decks – Red/Green Brawler and and Blue/Black Control.
Gauntlets are special modes that allow you to convert your expertise for the game into rewards like more event tickets and card packs. The biggest change in Artifact is the way cards are acquired – you either open card packs, or you pick single cards directly off the Community Market. Card trading won’t be a feature at launch.
Artifact launches globally on November 28, 2018.
