Revealed at the Japan Expo 2017, the latest trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors shows off more characters coming to the upcoming hack n’ slash title based on Nintendo’s Fire Emblem series of strategy RPGs.
Lucina, Robin, Frederick and Lissa from Fire Emblem Awakening (on 3DS) will be making their way to the Switch and 3DS exclusive title developed by Omega Force (popular for their Dynasty Warriors games).
While Lucina is a sword user, Lissa uses axes, Robin specializes in spells and Frederick is a cavalry knight; this does elevate fears of the series’s fans that FE Warriors will only have sword users as playable characters. You can watch the trailer below:
The game will retain several aspects of the original series such as it’s signature weapon triangle, pair-ups, support conversations and “friendships” (no marriages this time around). It’s set to release in fall of this year.
