Capcom announced in their fiscal report that the latest iteration of their long-running monster slaying simulator, Monster Hunter: World has exceeded a whopping 11 million. The studio also revealed the early August 2018-released PC version played a big role to elevate the sales figures.

Monster Hunter: World first launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide on January 26, 2018, followed by PC on August 3, 2018. An expansion, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, is on the way.
