Dark Light

Infinity Ward is finally listening to the woes of the PC players – it is bringing in mode-specific uninstall options for its humungous 225 GB storage-crunching monster Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Console versions of the game already allow that, but this highly-requested feature is now coming to PC too, courtesy to the Blizzard Battle.net Launcher. Gamers will now be able to choose which modes to keep on their system – campaign, multiplayer, spec-ops, warzone or survival. This update comes just a few days ahead of the launch of the Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War multiplayer open beta – the main game will release on November 13. The news came from Infinity Ward Production Director Paul Haile who tweeted about this.

Patch 1.28 is set to release on October 13 (Tuesday) at 11 PM PT | October 14 (Wednesday) at 02:30 AM ET | October 14 (Wednesday) 11:30 AM IST. Pre-load is only available for PS4, and the estimated size for consoles and PC is around 9 GB. Patch notes for this update are not available yet.

Season 6

The most recent update of Modern Warfare has been through Season 6, which brought in new operators Farah and Nikolai, a subway system based fast travel for Warzone, a new battlepass with 100 tiers of new unlocks, two new multiplayer maps Broadcast, and Mialstor Tank Factory, a Ground War map called Verdansk Riverside, a Gunfight map called Station, and two weapons (SP-R 208 and AS VAL) along with a host of general fixes. Don’t forget to check out their new limited-time modes called Armored Royale and Haunting of Verdansk!
