#100Games View:

When Metal Gear Solid V: ground Zeroes was announced. Once again Kojima was questioned: is the game big enough? is it open world? what color pants is solid Snake going to wear? Answering all of those question very patiently and with the usual grandeur of a succesful Japenese game maker, Kojima said that Ground Zeroes is almost like a demo, only its so big that we had to put it out as a game. He also said that Phantom Pain, when it comes out, will be 20 times bigger than Ground Zeroes.

Now if that doesn’t put you on the fence, I don’t know what will. A lot of people will look at it as a cheap way to make money by just releasing what the developers are themselves calling almost a DEMO. On the other hand, it can let new players ease into the Metal Gear Solid world and become accustomed for the things to come. It can also allow loyal fan-base to get to terms with the open world gameplay promised by Metal gear Solid Phantom Pain.

Whether Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes makes it big or not, remains to be seen. But we at #100Games can tell you that it will be releasing soon enough.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be available in India on 21st March, 2014 at Rs 1999/- for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
