Lego games will be hitting the new gen consoles in India very soon. With the launch of the X-Box One in India on the 23rd September (A news which for some reason was missing on IndianNoob), Lego have finally announced the X-Box One version of 3 of their games.
These games will be distributed by e-Xpress Interactive, the leading game software distributor in India. Each game would set you back by Rs. 2499, which by the way is lot cheaper than most current gen games out there. The games will be available on Games The Shop and select stores.
The Lego lineup for the X-Box One includes:
- Lego Movie Video Game – Step into the world of Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average citizen who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. Players guide him as he is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared. Enjoy a delightful and surprising mix of over 90 characters as seen from the film including Batman, Superman, TMNT’s Michelangelo, Gandalf and more in 15 exciting levels.
- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes – features an original story crossing the entire Marvel Universe. Players take control of Iron Man, Spider-Man, the Hulk, Captain America, Wolverine and many more Marvel characters as they unite to stop Loki and a host of other Marvel villains from assembling a super-weapon capable of destroying the world. Players will chase down Cosmic Bricks as they travel across LEGO Manhattan and visit key locations from the Marvel Universe, such as Stark Tower, Asteroid M, a Hydra base and the X-Mansion.
- Lego The Hobbit – Bilbo leaves the comforts of the Shire on a journey through Middle-earth to help the Dwarves reclaim their lost Kingdom of Erebor within the Lonely Mountain. Along the way, he is introduced to ravenous Trolls, dangerous Orcs and, of course, Gollum and his precious Ring. Players will utilize and combine the Dwarves’ unique abilities – often with hilarious results – to solve the most diverse Quests of any LEGO videogame to date.
All 3 of these games offer family friendly entertainment. Both Marvel Super Heroes and The Hobbit offer co-op gameplay, so they become perhaps the best games to buy and enjoy with your kids.
If you are a young adult, then I don’t see you gravitating toward these games, but if you have a wife and kid at home, no better excuse to buy and X-Box One than with these games.
