Thanks to a a ResetEra user, we now know that Turtle Rock, the studio behind the acclaimed Left 4 Dead series is hiring for a Senior Level Designer to work “on an unannounced AAA title.“
Turtle Rock has yet to officially reveal the AAA title in question, but the job posting is looking for someone who can create “fun encounters” and “awesome level layouts.” The listing also references “competitive and balanced map layouts.” Turtle Rock is also looking for a designer with experience working on modern FPS engines like Unreal Engine 4 and competitive AAA FPSs.

Do you love creating awesome level layouts and designing fun encounters? Do you enjoy watching people play through your levels and collaborating to make them even better? The job will require working closely with artists, engineers, and other designers to create awesome content.”
After developing the acclaimed co-op shooter Left 4 Dead, Turtle Rock made Evolve, a co-op monster hunting game which didn’t perform quite well.
