Ubisoft is teaming up with Red Chillies Entertainment and Hungama Digital Media Entertainment to include the Bollywood hit “India Waale” from the blockbuster Happy New Year in Just Dance Now.
Debuting the first Bollywood song in any Just Dance game with India Waale, (viewed over 4,6 million times on YouTube) brings fans from the two worlds together like never before. The goal of Just Dance is to make the world dance, and Ubisoft is proud to get closer to that reality by bringing the best of Bollywood to a worldwide audience.
The new track and map are available now on Just Dance Now, the new mobile game available on smartphones. The Just Dance team announced the new track as part of an exclusive pre-screening movie event held in Dubai. You can check out some of the new “Happy New Year” inspired maps and costume in the screenshot below.

Bollywood and dance are a natural fit, and it was more than natural that they would make their way to the Just Dance franchise. Just Dance however is not the only game with an indian connection that Ubisoft is releasing. Novemeber 17th will mark the release of Far Cry 4, a game set in the Himalayas, with a protagonist of Indian origin : Ajay Dharna.
I hope this kick starts more and more game taking the Indian gaming scene and the setting seriously. Until then Just Dance I guess!
