Just Cause 3 is the most anticipated game of what is left of the year and people can now start preparing for the chaos because the official system requirements have been released. We know that none of the AAA games have had low requirements with the exception of Metal Gear Solid, which ran better than other games on low configured systems. So without further ado, let’s have a look at the requirements.
Minimum:
CPU- Intel Core i5-2500 3.3 GHz/ AMD Phenom II X6 1075T 3 GHz
RAM- 6 GB
GPU- Nvidia GTX 670/ AMD R9 HD 7870
The above requirements do seem a tad above the games released this year with most of the games having a minimum requirement of GTX 660 rather than GTX 670. But considering the explosions and chaos we are going to see in the game, we are not surprised with the demand. As RAM we could say that, most of us today have 8 Gigs of RAM and if you don’t have it, just go and get some, because it’s dirt cheap these days and most games demand a minimum of 8 GB. The processors though not new were very powerful in their time and overclocking them will definitely give you a good boost.
As for what we think, not many people have 1080p monitors hinged to their computer these days, maybe 900p is the majority and with that kind of resolution any rig with 4 Gigs of RAM, an i3 4500 or above and a Nvidia GTX 650Ti or AMD 7770 can run it just fine.
Recommended:
CPU- Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz/ AMD FX-8350, 4 GHz
RAM-8 GB
GPU- Nvidia GTX 780/ AMD R9 390
The recommended system requirements are not much with RAM being what is a minimum requirement in most games today. The processors and the GPUs as well are a bit dated. With a recommended GPU of GTX 780/ R9 290, we are looking at some of the top end cards of about 2-3 years ago.
Anything with the GTX 900 series or the AMD R9 300 series should be able to run the game on medium-high graphics just fine.
Just Cause 3 releases on 1st December on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
