IO Interactive has announced the release date for second episode in the Hitman episodic series. Episode 2 will be released on April 26 which will take players to the region of Sapienza. A fictional town situated on the southern coast of Italy and described as “dense, full of challenges and packed with opportunities and stories”, by the developer. Remaining episodes will release throughout this year.
Previously, Io Interactive released patch 1.03 for Hitman available to PS4 and Xbox One owners. The patch introduces the Vampire Magician Challenge Pack and various improvements to the game. This update will also make available to PC owner “in near future.”
Talking about the Vampire Magician Challenge Pack, it’ll include 10 new challenges that were “inspired by how our community have been playing the game”. Each challenge requires you to wear the Vampire Magician disguise.
The patch also comes with improvements to the load times which can be notice while loading The Showstopper mission in Paris, in addition the developers were “already working on improving all loading times even more.”
Improved responsiveness for in-game menus and image loading were also made by implementing caching system that will improve responsiveness and loading times for all images in the game menu.
Issue that resulted in many players earning a “0 second” time bonus and an incorrect score of 210,000 has been fixed.
Improvements to connectivity and server stability has been done, along with a leaderboard reset implementing at “a later date”.
For those who lost their ‘Requiem Pack’ items, this patch have restored them and will now be available to choose from the planning screen again. Also, fixes to numerous issues that were causing crashes and improvements to the game, have been done.
