Dark Light

Looks like all the leaks were true and the prayers of the legendary FPS series has finally come true. Microsoft has officially announced that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be coming to the PC in 2019. The more exciting part of the news (apart from the fact that Halo will embrace the PC after a long, long time) is that the collection will also include Halo: Reach along with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 and that Halo: The Masterchief Collection will be released through Microsoft Store as well as Epi….na, we’re kidding: Steam!

According to the Steam page, The Master Chief’s story is brought together with a total of 67 campaign missions plus more than 120 multiplayer maps (including the original Halo Combat Evolved maps) and Spartan Ops maps. Now built for PC with mouse and keyboard support and up to 4K UHD and HDR. Christmas has come early!

According to PCGamer, the PC version of Halo: MCC will come in stages, with each game released individually, in chronological order, rather than all of them together in one big bundle. So Halo: Reach will be the first one to hit the PC.

“We’re embarking on a journey with our community to build a PC experience that delivers on PC gamer expectations,” community director Brian Jarrard said. “The team is passionately committed to ensuring that all of the features, bells, and whistles expected in a modern PC title are included with MCC.”

We’ll keep you updated on the release date and the pricing.
