2024 has seen its fair share of new game releases and sequels. From the giant COD Black Ops VI to Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred, we’ve witnessed some very exciting launches this year. Considering the typically busy schedules at the foot of the year, many RPG creators have reportedly scooted their big launches into the new year.
Pending further announcements, the list of PC game releases already slated for 2025 is getting more interesting by the week. If you’re also keeping tabs on this future game log, then you’ve turned right. Without further ado, let’s roll out our 2025 forecast.
BlockBuster February
Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming – “Avowed will be a key title for us. We’ve always demonstrated how committed Xbox is to bringing deeply immersive, single-player RPGs to our platform”.
Starting off, you’d want to keep an eye on February 2025. Usually, you’d look at January first, but February? It’s literally going to be a frenzy. By that, I mean some of the biggest names in the industry have rolled out February dates for some well-anticipated releases. Avowed, the Obsidian Entertainment special was one of the first games to make the February timeline official, following the 2024 delay.
However, since then, there’s been some other big developments. We’re talking Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Monster Hunt Wilds big. In total, I can count more than six official releases that you shouldn’t miss in February alone.
Fun Fact: 2024’s PC game releases have been really big on diversity. From historical narratives, to eco friendly games that simulate sustainable farming, we now have out of the box themes. In essence, we’re getting to see more PC games that intentionally reflect current global interests and awareness like environmental crises and inclusion.
Here’s a table highlighting some of the most highly anticipated games coming to your screens, consoles, and PCs in February.

January Galore
Rockstar Games, developers of Grand Theft Auto, promises Auto VI to be “a dynamic world filled with intricate storylines, evolving alongside the player.”
Before we get to see the biggest names in February, January will be treating us to also a good number of elite PC games. Personally, I’m pretty hyped up for Warside and Spider-Man 2, which are set to launch only two days apart. Apparently, January 28th alone will see four different games released, with two of them unavailable via PC. These include;
- Cuisineer
- Neptunia Riders vs Dogoos
- The Stone of Madness
- Warside
That brings us to a worthy note of the wide system and console coverage of next year’s games. Aside from being available on PC, this line up of games is well optimized for wide function. Broad utility optimization has become increasingly common with today’s gaming endeavors. A prime example is with online casino games.
In fact, casino software providers in league with the best casinos are putting out games that run on mobile, PC and across several operating systems. It has access on all sides. In addition, if you do fancy the thrill of gaming with real money, then it’s pretty simple to find casino we recommend reading the reviews first sites with the lowest deposit limits to get started.
Fun Fact: Thanks to advancements in development tools and AI, smaller studios and even solo developers will be able to create AAA-quality games. Look out for indie masterpieces that rival the quality of major studios.
Looking at March
Not too many major releases have been slated for March 2025 as of now. Nevertheless, March brings a particular PC RPG that I have been looking forward to since mid-year. Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game will be hitting your PCs and consoles on March 25.
Away from preferences, Suikoden 1 and II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Duncan Unification Wars will be rolling out on the 6th of March. Two Point Museum for the business heads will probably be the earliest, launching on March 4.
Afterwards, Lost Records and Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist & the Envisioned Land are also slated for 18th and 21st March respectively.
Our forecast is only three months in and 2025 is already promising much more than we’ve had in 24. Whilst the date is still unconfirmed, GTA 6 will probably be the biggest release of next year by many opinions. However, whether it’ll be available on PC or not is still to be determined. Overall, we’re looking at big names, notable hits and a major pull for 2025 PC game releases.
