The next installment in the Final Fantasy franchise, or at least one of it: Final Fantasy TYPE-0 HD is now available for pre-order in India. You can pre-order the game at leading retailers, both online and offline. The game will be released on Xbox One and the PS4, and both versions will be priced at Rs. 3,499/-.
Final Fantasy TYPE-0 HD will be available in India on 20th March 2015
Final Fantasy TYPE-0 HD is set in the year 842 of the Final Fantasy universe. In an act of unprovoked aggression, the Militesi Empire invaded the Dominion of Rubrum. Imperial dreadnoughts swarmed the skies, assailing the unsuspecting countryside under the banner of the White Tiger. From amidst the flames of the besieged dominion, the Vermilion Bird rose in defiance, her crystal granting magic and mighty eidolons that her disciples might cast out the technologically advanced aggressors. Thrust into the tumult of war, the fate of the world and its four crystals now rests on the shoulders of fourteen brave, young warriors.
The game boasts of high definition visuals. 14 different characters to choose from and create your team. A new balanced game rules, will add more potency to otherwise standard attacks, adding the chance of death in every attack. The game also offers a mature look at the Final Fantasy franchise, so hope for a darker tone this around.
Apart from the standard edition mentioned above. The Final Fantasy Type-o HD is available in 2 different special editions:
- The Fr4me Limited Edition
The Fr4me Limited Edition includes a “Fr4me case,” which is “sort of like a photo frame that can double up as a game case,” according to Square Enix. The covers can be customized by swapping the various art cards included. Also, the finger grips work as a horizontal stand, allowing you to display the game case like a photo.
Currently the Fr4me edition is planned for a European release.
- The Steelbook Limited Edition
As its name implies, The Steelbook Limited Edition comes with a steelbook case featuring a reversible design. Note that this steelbook differs from the previously revealed golden steelbook, which is exclusive to the Collector’s Edition.
Both the special editions will have exclusive keys to access the upcoming Final Fantasy XV demo on the next gen consoles. So I suggest you get your hands on the pre-order bonuses ASAP, before stock runs out.
