It’s a good day to be a Tarkov fan. Battlestate Games announced that Escape From Tarkov will expand into a new access region. This expansion will be accompanied by a pricing policy change for LATAM players. This update allows more players across the region to experience the tactical combat of Tarkov. Additionally, from this date until March 3, players can get Twitch Drops by watching participating LATAM streamers on Twitch.
Escape from Tarkov pricing will match regional standards, giving more players across LATAM a chance to join the action. Moreover, LATAM servers have also been optimized for better connection stability and faster matchmaking, ensuring a smoother experience.
- The changes apply to the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Venezuela, Haiti, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Martinique, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Martin, Uruguay, French Guiana, Chile, Ecuador.
Pricing Adjustments
The list below reflects the updated LATAM pricing for all general game editions:
- EFT Standard Edition: $20.00 (USD);
- EFT Left Behind: $32.00 (USD);
- EFT Prepare for Escape: $45.00 (USD);
- EFT The Unheard Edition: $125.00 (USD);
- EFT: Arena: $15.00 (USD).
Please note that all upgrades and other game-related purchases are also impacted by regional pricing, but are not listed above. The complete list of price changes will be available from February 26.
LATAM Twitch Drops
From February 26 (8 AM EST / 1 PM GMT) to March 3 (8 AM EST / 1 PM GMT), watch participating LATAM-based Escape from Tarkov streamers on Twitch to earn in-game rewards. While drops are available to players from all regions, only LATAM streamers are eligible for this campaign. This is a celebration of the passionate creators and community in the region — so be sure to tune in, support your favorite streamers, and claim your rewards.
How to Get Drops?
- Drops are available to all viewers, regardless of region.
- To receive Drops, you must already own a copy of the game. If you don’t have a copy yet, you can purchase it here.
- To receive Drops, both viewers and streamers need to link their Twitch profiles to their game accounts on the project website.
- During the campaign, you will receive guaranteed rewards at certain intervals.
- You can watch one or more streams, but only the streams participating in the event will count toward Drops.
