Entity Gaming will be acquiring Đorđe “DJOXIC” Nićiforović as the primary AWPer for the squad. David “Dav” Miljanić becomes the new IGL of the CSGO lineup, so that Darko “soLo” Mitić can take up his duty as the coach.
The decision comes after the Winter Finale of the ESL India Premiership, which saw Entity Gaming beat existing champions 2ez Gaming to pick up the banner. The team is trying to make a balance between Indian and foreign players to insure maximum competitive efficiency in both local as well as global tournaments. The roster change comes with the ESL Pro League Asia Closed Qualifiers in mind, which will see Entity compete with the best Asian CSGO teams for a slot at the ESL Pro League.
“This decision was made because we feel it is important for new strategies and different playstyles to be introduced in order for the scene to progress and we strongly believe a stronger scene will lead to a more powerful global presence” – Varun Bhavnani, CGO.
Entity Gaming have not been clear about the future of Simar “Psy” Sethi and Bhavin “HellRangeR” Kotwani, who had been benched after a disappointing performance at Dreamhack Mumbai.
