Polish developer Silver Lemur Games has announced that they are working on a classic, old-school, party-based RPG titled Legends of Amberland: The Forgotten Crown for PC. Legends of Amberland is a classic western RPG inspired by the games from the 90s, especially Dungeon Master, Eye of The Beholder 2, Might & Magic 3-5, and the various GoldBox RPGs.

Legends of Amberland is a turn and party based RPG with tile movements and features an open world with a big overworld to explore. The developer has put a big emphasis on the ‘no grind’ part. Ok, now we’re certainly intrigued.

According to the developer, the game is a light, fairy tale, epic, heroic and slightly humorous experience. In the words of the developer, “it’s the kind of game I personally find missing nowadays….One that does not take tons of hours to complete or require endless grind to progress. Something that caters to players like me who don’t have 40 hours to beat one game but still like to play and have a sort of nostalgia for the way games were made in the old days.”

You can watch an early build of the game in action below and for more information, check t the official website here.

The game is planned to be released around 2018 – 2019.

Stay tuned for more information.
