e-xpress Interactive Software Pvt. Ltd, India’s leading distributor, announced 4 brand new WWE 2K16 tournament at Games The Shop, Hamleys store, High Street Phoenix taking place on 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th of March 2016.
Total prize pool of Rs. 40,000 over 4 weekends
The tournament will be played on the PS4 only, and all matches will be taking place on weekends. e-xpress has held various WWE 2K16 tournaments before as well, most notably at IGX’15 last year where they even gave away WWE championship replica belts to the winners. This time around too, participants can bag some official WWE merchandise apart from the cash prizes reserved for winners.
The 40,000 is divided as below:
- 1st Prize: Rs. 5,000
- 2nd Prize: Rs. 3,000
- 3rd Prize: Rs. 2,000
What this means is 4 individual tournaments spread over the month of March offering upto Rs. 20,000 in cash if you end up winning all the 4 tournaments. That’s pretty decent cash for putting your WWE 2K16 skills to use for 1 day each week.
