Bandai Namco has just revealed the minimum system reuirements of Dragonball FighterZ, a game by Arc System Works. Just wanted to run a quick glance at it because these are some insane requirements as far as CPU and RAM requirements go. This is quite a bit early for the system requirements to be revealed, but for a fighting game or rather any game in general, this is too much. So without further ado, let’s get into it:

MINIMUM:

    • OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
    • Processor: i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
    • Memory: 16 GB RAM
    • Graphics: GeForce GTX 660 4GB

Now Bandai Namco has come forward and said that these are placeholder system requirements after many people on twitter (And most likely Reddit) seemed concerned about the mentioned requirements. Anyhow, that CPU requirement has to be one of the highest minimum requirements I have ever seen for minimum requirements. The 3770 is generally the recommended CPU for most games. As far as GPU goes, it’s pretty standard stuff with the GTX 660, but when it comes to RAM, they have jacked it up to 16 Gigs for unknown reasons.

These requirements seem odd to me, but Bandai Namco’s games are relatively well optimized, so hopefully, this is just a communication error.
