Bandai Namco recently set up a new website which depicts a microwave oven that when clicked on, opens to reveal an egg followed by “9 Days Left”. The countdown leads to December 4.
How does this relate to the popular manga and anime series you ask? Well, in Episode 5 of Season 1, main protagonist Izuku Midoriya is suggested by the superhero All Might to try and imagine his powers to be similar to an egg in a microwave, after he has trouble controlling them. Not just that, but the site URL is named MHAOJ, the first 3 initials likely standing for My Hero Academia; as for what OJ means, our guess is as good as yours.
The smash-hit series – revolving around a normal boy born in a world where superpowers are the norm – first got an anime last year after its manga debut in 2014. A Nintendo 3DS exclusive game was also released last year, called My Hero Academia: Battle for All, but has not received a release outside of Japan yet.
Are you looking forward to the official reveal?
